Healthy Doggie Treats

In an effort to have healthy training treats for my dogs I started experimenting. I wanted something soft so they can eat them quickly during training. Making treats at home give you the ability to control all the ingredients and the quality of each ingredient. Since I do not give my dogs food with grain in it I made the treats with just a little bit of oats. Buckwheat is not a grain and therefore is gluten-free. This is what I came up with and they love them.
Soft Pumpkin Treats
1/3 cup canned Pumpkin
3/4 cup Buckwheat Flour
3/4 cup Oatmeal
1 TB Molasses
2 Eggs
2 TBS Coconut OIl
3/4 cup grated cheese
Mix all ingredients until well blended. The consistency should be that of a cookie batter. If too runny add some more oatmeal or Buckwheat. If too thick add more pumpkin. Drop by small spoonfuls on greased (coconut oil works well) cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for about 15 minutes.
